New efficiency increasing system for vacuum maintenance in absorption chillers
Up to now the efficiency of absorption chiller working under low pressure suffers from so called “none condensing” gases or gases alien to the system due to leakage or corrosion. The state of the art is to overcome these problems by either using external pumps, additional absorbers or jet pumps which are supplemented by mechanic vacuum pumps.
The new system is using circulating liquids of the chiller, to exhaust gases through a gas separator, so that the “none condensing” gases are removed from the system. This does not only result in a significant conservation of energy, but also in a much less labor-intensive maintenance. The system can be customized for flow rates between 20 and 1200 l/h.
