Siemens Water Technologies Extends Its Range of Municipal Services for Membrane and Media Treatment Systems

These services ensure that customers’ membrane and media treatment systems operate reliably, economically, and always produce water that is within compliance. For municipal arsenic treatment systems, Siemens offers efficient replacement of media with minimum system downtime. Field service teams, operating from over 85 branches in North America, provide complete media removal and replacement service using methods and equipment that eliminates the cost associated with traditional manual loading and unloading of media by hand.

Siemens’ service technicians can do this work in several hours instead of days. Siemens additional services for media treatment systems include Rapid Small Scale Column Testing (RSSCT), Monthly and Quarterly Service Contracts, System Sanitization and Annual Performance Reviews.

For reverse osmosis and nanofiltration membrane systems, Siemens provides a range of services and support options to help customers maintain and protect their membrane treatment system investment. The services include on-site and off-site membrane cleaning, spare and replacement membrane supply, laboratory testing and membrane failure analysis, operator training and customized service and preventative maintenance contracts. These services ensure plants operate efficiently and reliably, while continuing to produce quality water.

The extended municipal service portfolio was shown at the AWWA’s 2007 Annual Conference & Exposition (ACE07) at Booth 1615.
