Social Entrepreneurship Conference at HHL on May 12, 2012

At HHL – Leipzig Graduate School of Management which is internationally recognized for its education in entrepreneurship the student initiative Accelerate@HHL is organizing the Accelerate Conference on Social Entrepreneurship. The conference will take place on Saturday, May 12, 2012.

Registration is open for students until April 15, 2012 on www.accelerate-entrepreneurship.com. Acceleate@HHL invited guest speakers such as Katja Urbatsch (arbeiterkind.de) or Maurice Stanszus (WeGreen) to the conference. The student initiative fosters the entrepreneurial spirit at Germany’s oldest business school.

Social entrepreneurs develop business models which help to cope with social challenges. Entrepreneurs from various fields such as education, environment and fair trade will participate at the conference. Therefore, the conference is a pool of expertise on social entrepreneurship from which German and European students can gain knowledge and inspiration. Interactive forums, workshops on entrepreneurial skills and a fair provide the opportunity to discuss ideas and to network. The goal is to encourage young people to found enterprises which create social benefit:
