Last Chance to Apply for a Scholarship to Study at the Kühne Logistics University

Many students decide for financial reasons not to study for a master’s degree, especially when tuition fees are charged. They often forget that there are a number of opportunities to secure financial support. This year the KLU is again offering financial assistance to students with a bachelor’s degree who would like to study for its master’s programs in global logistics or management.

Scholarship opportunities are available for applicants with personality, commitment, guts, and passion. They must have scored at least 600 points in the Graduate Management Admission Test, but good academic achievements are not the only key criterion.

“We are looking for applicants with the right overall personalities who stand out over and above their internships, language skills, and other qualifications,” says Prof. Dr. Matthias Hühn, Associate Dean of Programs at the KLU. In addition to scholarships the KLU offers a funding option via a reverse contract between generations: its BrainCapital model.

“One reason why I opted for the KLU was the BrainCapital funding option that enables me not to pay my tuition fees until I have a job,” says Eddi Haussmann, a management student at the KLU.

In principle any student who has successfully completed the application process may apply for a scholarship. Application documents are available to download at http://www.the-klu.org/admission/financing/scholarships/. The closing date for applications is June 30, 2012. For more information about scholarships please feel free to e-mail study@the-klu.org.
