KLU Case Study with Lifestyle Group TOM TAILOR – Win and Clinch a Scholarship

Ambitious Bachelor’s students and graduates with a management studies background are called on to try their hand at a genuine case study for the TOM TAILOR fashion group. Strategic decisions and transfer thinking are needed, as are a solution-oriented approach and professional presentation. The winner will receive a scholarship for the KLU. The application deadline is July 10, 2011. For more information, visit www.the-klu.org.

Bachelor’s students and graduates, preferably with management studies expertise, can qualify to take part in the competition by solving a brief case study in fashion retailing. Submit a convincing result and you will be invited to take part in a case study at the KLU, where a realistic management challenge faced by the Hamburg-based lifestyle group will be presented for which teams of participants will draw up strategic solutions and present them to a jury of Tom Tailor representatives and professors at the KLU. This is a task for lateral and strategic thinkers and for those who would like to gain an insight into the tasks that managements face.

Applicants can send a short e-mail with the subject heading TOM TAILOR Case Study to study@the-klu.org for a copy of the case study. The application deadline is July 10, 2011. The case study contest will be held on July 16, 2011 on campus at the Kühne Logistics University in Hamburg’s HafenCity district (Brooktorkai 20, fourth floor).

The person to contact at the KLU is Nicole Wedell, +49 40 328 707 160 or study@the-klu.org
