INTAC entwickelt landesweites Schul-Informationssystem für China

Kooperation zwischen INTAC, dem chinesischen Bildungsministerium und Huana Xinlong

Das in China tätige, Nasdaq-notierte Technologieunternehmen INTAC International (Nasdaq: INTN, Frankfurt: WKN 805768) meldet, dass sein Tochterunternehmen Intac Purun vom chinesischen Bildungsministerium den Zuschlag für Entwicklung und Betrieb eines Informationssystems für Grund- und Mittelschulen in China bekommen hat. Das „Family-School Link Communication System“ (FSLCS) soll im März 2005 starten.

In China gibt es rund 500.000 Grund- und Mittelschulen mit über 200 Mio. Schülern. Der Informationsaustausch zwischen Lehrern und Eltern über Aktivitäten, Lernfortschritt, aktuelle Probleme und persönliche Entwicklung der Schüler ist derzeit sehr schwierig. Mit FSLCS will das chinesische Bildungsministerium den Kontakt zwischen Eltern und Lehrern schneller und effektiver machen.

Über FSLCS können sich Eltern online unter anderem über Anwesenheit, Schulnoten und Stundenpläne ihrer Kinder informieren. Das System bietet außerdem die Möglichkeit der direkten Kommunikation zwischen Eltern und Lehrern. Der Zugang erfolgt über Intac Puruns Internet-Portal Joyba.com. Da Mobiltelefone in China eine hohe Verbreitung haben, bietet FSLCS auch Informationsdienste per Handy. Diese Dienste werden über die führenden chinesischen Mobilfunkunternehmen China Mobile und China Unicom angeboten. Intac Purun verfügt über die Lizenzen für den Vertrieb von Internet- und Mobilfunk-Mehrwertdienstleistungen.

Intac Purun erwartet große Resonanz bei Schulen und Eltern. Erste Gebühreneinnahmen sollen ab März 2005 fließen. Unter der Hypothese, dass alle Eltern den kostenpflichtigen Dienst nutzen, errechnet sich ein Umsatzpotenzial von 240 Mio. USD pro Monat. Schnelle Verbreitung von FSLCS erwartet Intac Purun, neben der vollen Unterstützung durch das Bildungsministerium, durch die Kooperation mit Huana Xinlong Ltd. Das Unternehmen ist ein führender Entwickler von Management-Software für den Bildungsbereich. Produkte von Huana Xinlong werden zur Zeit von mehr als 5.000 Grund- und Mittelschulen in zwölf Provinzen verwendet.
